Twitter character, I,Tweetus follows the story of an adventurous Roman soldier named Marcus Julius Latinus, relaying his journey Northin the winter of 72/73AD when the Roman army reached the area where Carlisle now stands.
Through daily Tweets from @iTweetus, Marcus, a Roman Legionary, will tell of his hopes, fears, likes and loves over the course of this winter, building an understanding of what life would have been like for a foreign soldier arriving in Northern England almost 2,000 years ago.
