Helmet carrying handle
Bronze curved handle for carrying a helmet. These type of handles first appeared in the 1st Century AD and would have been placed through hoops on the helmet neck guard. The handle width allows enough room to place the three middle fingers around the handle, allowing a soldier to easily carry his equipment.
